I was about to say.... What are the specs on the skyline any mods?
But back on topic that evo is pretty outrageous, we down here on our lil island have a VI with 700hp+ on race gas and it is reeeeeeeeeeediculous.
His username is Crcrain, look him up and his threads im sure he has a build by build thread.

A setup like this really seems like the best route to having huge drag power and tq. with a car that would still shine on a road course and the street.

Thanks...
looking good and good luck with the car.
on my 40r it is a bit more laggy due to our altitude but what i will do is some
3rd gear pulls logging boost and revs..

whats your altitude? im really interested as i live in a high elevation area and have been thinking about this kit.

5600ft above sea level, one thing that i can tell you is I get 15 psi by 4000rpm no problem in 4th gear.
I will be doing a bit of road tuning today.
I will pull some logs with the zeitronix rpm vs boost.
the best thing about the Twin scrolls is they feel so different to Single Scroll turbo's off boost.
SS turbos almost feel lethargic compared to TS.
I might test out a 0.94 housing, we might not make the Topend but i am willing to trade of a bit of peak power for a wider powerband.
My car is not a drag car, roadcourse is were it will live.

InDub sorry to hijack your thread i just want to post some boost curves.
I am running the same setup as you just with a 2.3 and GSC S2 cams
TwStDeVo check them out.
Show me a single scroll 35r do this......
3rd gear 4000rpm
3rd gear 4600rpm
5th gear 4000rpm
you can see we have a bit of surge going on there..
and with a 0.95 hotside i think this will make it worse
ohhhhh!! again i forget to mention 5600ft above sea level..
the 4088r is a great turbo..
also please note none of these values were inflated due to brake boosting...

our off-the-shelf horizontal flow core
most fun high power street car ive been in to date, cant wait to make our big video
the skyline is an r34 gtr, built motor, good turbo setup, etc but this is jake's thread, feel free to email me for gtr pics or specs
not necessarily for what makes the best dedicated Q16 or VP Import powered drag car, which always trades transient response for peak power...I'm not sure we're doing ourselves any favors by trading spool time for a nickel or dime worth of peak power that necessitates us to spin the motor harder, even if it means a little less boost pressure is required. How much more can we get from a 40R compressor anyway? With a 2.0L, we can apply an approximation of these results, but we need to move everything upward in the rpm range by several hundred rpm to account for the difference in displacement. So, already the same turbine side has us trading off transient response at any given rpm for the same approximate power potential. With a 42R being able to deliver 1000+whp with a 1.15 A/R TS T4 (and needing plenty of rpm to do it), do we really need something that large for a 750whp turbo, and for a street application at that?
