Thanks to chris @ mellontuning for meticulously tweaking the car for a safe, reliable and optimum tune. Had to go through a ton of logs before chris was satisfied. roms were sent back asap to streamline the tuning process.

That graph looks great. Are you going to up the boost on pump anymore or is this the final tune? Did boost creep have anything to do with peak torque being between 5500 and 6000rpms?

thanks, this is the tune i'll stick with for now. im not going to have it flashed until i get hit with the mod bug again. i really cant be sure about the boost creep. when i'll do the dyno we'll see (more accurately) on where peak torque would be. i've heard about fp wastegate acutator problems with boost creep. but then it might also be the temps when doing runs..

Chris is a great guy and def. has the best customer service around. The only way to describe him is he tunes every car like they are his own. Nice mods and nice chart. Mellon FTW!

thanks for the glowing review Paolo, I've really enjoyed working on your EVO, it's a beast and quite possibly the strongest EVOgreen I've done yet! Most of my customers get 375-385 on 93 octane with my conservative DLL settings which is good enough for an 11 second pass all day long

Let me know if you need anything, just because the tune is finished that doesn't mean the service stops there. I'm always eager to help my good customers

p.s. Welcome to the Mellon Tuning ARMY

The load peaked ~310kpa at 3800 and held it all the way to 5800rpm which was a bit high for the octane so I had to pull the timing way back regardless of the AFR. I tried quite a few different values there to no avail. We probably could drop the boost down a few psi and run a few more degrees of timing down there and bump up the torque but at the expense of lost high rpm horsepower.
