junior from "the shop" forced me..
haha just kidding hes a really cool guy along with jimmy and all of the shop guys (theshopct.com) i actually had a tune last year (s1 cams/stock turbo) and had problems with it with it only putting out 320 whp which we all figured was low for what i had on it and it was mainly being blamed on the intercooler being heat soaked so quickly in about 80/90 degree weather.. well come a year, i talk to junior and let him know about how i ran ****ty at the track (13.0 at 105 1.7 60ft too) so he decided to help me out and actually retune me since last time it didnt go so great.. so today, i actually made an appointment to come into the new place and was even the first person to break the new dyno in at the new shop .. so now i actually been busy modding this whole year (s1 cams/full intercooler/piping/green turbo/ported exhaust mani/o2 dump pipe/cutout) got it retuned and pulled off 420 to the wheels?! this was on a dyno dynamics so it was changed to read as a dynojet (20%) and was also at 1.20 correction, i was actually very surprised by the numbers because i was shooting for just around 380, but am muchhhh happier with this instead the torque was at only about 350 (need to check for certain) but this was with not much advance timing so it doesnt go boom come summer.. overall i am very happy how today turned out and is exactly what i was looking for, only thing now is to head out to a track and get straight into the 11's
sooo flllattttt...

Congrats for the new power thats cool of them to retune your car for free.Thats what you call a good business person not like some other tuners and shops, with that much power you well into the 11's don't forget track times is not every thing it also has to feel good on the street too.

Correction factor. Read like a dynojet. Yuk.
People should be trying to get their dynos to NOT read like a dynojet. I think the USA DynoDynamics distributor really screwed up not teaching people how to run their dyno.

Agreed. As a DD owner I feel like that's not helping anyone to use a hugely positive correction factor. That would be 320 whp on our dyno with a zero correction. Given that it's like 5 degrees F out in the Northeast the dyno should be using a negative correction at the moment resulting in numbers that would be theoretically lower than 320. (theoretically)

i guess its the fact that many people question why this dyno reads lower and they wanna see those big numbers like on other dynos they go to.. for me though i wanted a dyno that would actually read the load of the car so when i do take it out onto the streets everything would be all faked up.. correction or no correction im very happy with what a beast she is on the streets

Congrats on the numbers mate!
Junior and Jimmy are great guys to work with with amazing service skills! All the shop crew is great...
Do you know what boost pressure? 345 awhp uncorrected on this dyno is MEGA strong! when i had my car to around 350 awhp because i do the AEM on this particular dyno, i ran a 11.9@120 @ 3400lbs and 1.85 60ft on pump with bad driving on my winter dunlops...
Did you have your cutout open during dyno? I would be particularly interested to see how much of the gain is because of the cutout.... Usually Greens with similar mods are in the 320-330 awhp region! so maybe you could have gained 15-20 awhp because of the cutout and the ability to keep more boost up top because of the less back pressure...
