If you drive a MR, you HAVE to get this. S-Sport with any SP mode is just insane, I could do four-wheel sliding in every corner with ease. I find myself turning this unit ON everytime I drive, its THAT much more fun.

Not sure how good it works with GSR 5 speed, maybe somebody (from Singapore) could chime in.

Just a bit under MSRP as the exchange rate sucks.

Regardless, its worth the money.

1) does it matter if its a GSR or an MR?
2) How does it affect tunes?
3) pics of unit installed?

anyone? anyone?

1) No it works on both models.
2) This device has no interference with tune, it only modifies the throttle signals.

From what I read, this device gives you the ability to use 100% throttle (many drive-by-wire cars are limited to 80-95% from the factory). You will not gain horsepower, but you will be able to use all the power that the engine is capable of delivering.

no....
all this does is increase your throttle response.

no it doesn't .. you're still at 87% .. thats the ECU limitaiton .. not a throttle limitation ..

Anyway .. if you log your throttle .. you notice that despite what they draw on the curves on the box.. your throttle actually takes a nosedive at 50% because thats when the correction stops and it reverts to stock setting .. not the smooth curve they draw out to be ..

so in SP1 .. at 70% .. it suddenly drops to 50% and becomes normal throttle onwards
SP2 at 77%
SP3 at 87%

All these settings just plummets after 50% throttle position .. which is weird ..

I have it installed .. and after the initial fun factor wore off .. I seldom turn it on now ..

My friend has it and he loves it .. so I guess its subjective and how you drive or setup your car ..

More importantly, does it do away with the initial, from the start, engagement lag on the MR??

I stopped using it because I retuned my car .. and I got the same 'effects' I wanted with SP1 .. almost

Oh don't get me wrong .. retuned +SP1 = much improved response .. but with the retune the response is already what I wanted ..

would this interfere with HKS EVC? as the EVC mapping is based on Throttle open percentage. anyone has both HKS EVC and BLITZ Throttle Controller installed?any problems?
