Thumbs up Speed source Evo IX 5spd shifter bushings (in car and under hood)

I was annoyed by my notchy shifter and decided to do something about it. After some research I found out how to get rid of that chunky feeling shifter and the answer was shifter bushings. I did some more searching and came across the speed source bushings, they required no modifications like some others and arent permanant.

The install was a breeze, especially since the interior in our cars comes apart with 6 screws haha. I first installed the interior bushings and honestly didnt feel much of a difference at first, then I did the underhood and they were just as easy and straight foward. I cleaned the pins using the sand paper cloth that they supplied and then used some anti sieze for some added lubrication.

After the install I ran through all the gears and immediately noticed how smooth and solid it felt. I took the car for a drive and I must say I couldnt be happier. The shifter feels solid and the in car bushing help add to that feel by polishing it off the tight feeling. I couldnt be happier with the out come.

I definately recomend these bushings and Speed Source because of they awesome customer service and fast delivery. I will be ordering fromt them again

Glad to hear another good review on the shifter bushings. I plan to install some AMS ones i bought awhile back soon. I'm going to check out speedsource after your review.
