Is this only suggested for certain clutch types and brands. Example, Exedy is needed, but what about ACT and such.

All pull clutches. Basically all clutches for the Evo unless they covert to push.

To the TT guy who mentioned R&D. there is no way your time " researching and developing" this piece justifies the cost...what do you think your engineering here..cylinder heads or something.
The cost comes from the fact that you have a niche in the market right now for the most part. Any clown with a hacksaw and a drill bit can replicate this piece. In fact it looks as if the TT part was cut with a hand tool.

Anyway thank you for "developing" this template. Now anyone who makes a stop at the hardware store can make a clutch stop for about 10 dollars and an hour of their time.

Wow. Talk about a lack of appreciation.

It takes time and money in order to figure out the issue, engineer a solution and then bring it to market - that's why they are expensive.

Everyone has been hating on TurboTrix for this fix. In case nobody else has noticed, all the other clutch fork stops have copied this design.

I have this clutch fork stopper, it works great!

Thanks to TurboTrix for putting the initial thought into this to fix a pretty big problem in the Evo community.

Yes the price is/was high cause they had a niche in the market, but thats part of a free economy. If they knew no one would be able to copy their design Im sure the break even quantity (Number of parts sold to break even on the cost of matl's, engineering, manufacturing, etc) could be higher and a lower price set. But with something like this its only time before other vendors start making their own version. Gotta get your money back somehow.

Whats that you say, put a patent on it? Good luck with that :P

Wow, so $100 is too much to pay to stop you from having to spend $500-$600 to have your trans taken back out to fix your broken clip? So we should buy a solid piece of aluminum, machine it on our Milling Machine, drill it, tap it, stamp it, and sell it for what ??? How about we just take a huge loss on it, would that be better? And here we were thinking that the idea of a business was to make money. How silly of us. We ran this stop for years before we even started to sell them. We made a few extra for our customers and the first few we sold were just rough pieces. People kept calling for them so we decided to make a nice version and sell it. Its amazing that its so simple and doesn't take a "genius" to figure out but it took 5 yrs for someone to make it. Within a few months there were 3 or 4 other vendors that copied it. Maybe you should complain that theres is too expensive or is $75 ok but $100 is just ridiculous?
