TRE Transmissions Rock!!!! (john Rip)
I can only say that the time i spent on the phone and in person with John Rip is educational, great and has excellent customer service. His work should be praised more then it has been lately. Not saying shep trannys arent great but Tre is much closer (kalamazoo, MI) to me milwaukee-chicago that i drove and first hand saw the process by which these 5spd evo trannys get put under to be able to withstand more abuse then they do. he ended up doing a stage 2 with a evo9 1st and evo8 2nd-5th and i just hit my 3000mile and man is it great and reasonably priced 1400.00 considering i brought him a 5spd in pieces. He maybe hard to get ahold of but try mornings and persistently cause its worth dealing with someone 1st hand then over a few states.
