Want to show off my new PPI Intercooler and Pipes

I am so exited! I've been waiting for these for a long time and I must say that Wayne over at PPI has done more than impressed me. Coming from owing many "German" performance cars and being nearly 40 years old I only install what I feel are the best parts on my cars. I am one that expects both performance and perfect fit and finish. I originally was going another direction until I met Wayne and the PPI folks at a local dyno day here in Michigan. I was shocked at the big power numbers his Evo 8 put down and really liked the fabrication work on his car. At that time he asked what my plans were for my car. My goals were pretty small compared to most of your guys. I wanted a full bolt on car that ran on the stock turbo, was quiet, and looked classy. I went through 3 different exhaust systems until I setlled on the mxp catback mated to an AMS testpipe. I have installed an Injen, AEM and AMS intake system (AMS Intake For Sale Now) on the car and am finally happy with the package solution that Wayne from PPI provided me with. The power package that PPI put together for me included a Garrett Core Based (Bar and Plate) intercooler, 1 piece lower intercooler pipe, 1 piece upper intercooler pipe, short ram intake (comes with heat shield and all spots for factory vacuum/crankcase vent lines)and small battery kit. I really love the signature "Black Chrome" powdercoat on all of the pipes and the fact that the intake kit has an AEM dryflow fiter. Wayne even spent the time and extra detail to coat the intake heatshield with a heat replellant coating from DEI. Alright, enough of my babbling, on to the pictures!!!

Love that PPI signature "Black Chrome" Powdercoat:

Just for fun here are a few track shots:

Thanks! I got a special deal since they used my car to develop the parts. I'll let PPI chime in on price in the vendors announcement section when the parts officially go on sale.

Thanks for posting the pictures Eurorcr!
I appreciate the positive feedback everyone!

I will have pricing and a full product release this week with pricing and more pictures!

- We will have polished I/C piping as std. and then powdercoated as above as optional.
- The upper pipe can also be made as a 2 piece design for those that don't want a 1 piece.
- There will be different I/C core sizes also!

I like that powdercoat color! You should try and make that UICP a solid 1-piece design instead though and avoid the welds. The less welds/couplers the better IMO.

Yes sir they are.

So they won't rust like some other i/c pipes I have seen

They are light weight
They also cool quickly if/when heated unlike steel which retains heat much longer!
