SparkTech Non-CDI review

I'm happy to announce SparkTech Ignition sponsoring our Modified Time attack evo. My race evo has been running stock ignition coils for over 3 years. When we ran the car super hot during summer here in Southern California, we get misfire issues even though we don't run a lot of timing. Craig and I chatted couple of times about the sponsorship program, finally we came to an agreement. I was letting Craig know i have a track day this weekend and wondered if the package would arrive on time. The next thing i know i got a pmed from Craig telling me that he had upgraded the shipping carrier. Anyway package came in on friday which it took only 4 days . As i opened the box, everything is very professionally wrap. I installed the sparktech non CDI unit on my evo, everything fit perfectly and wiring was cleanly done from Sparktech. Next thing is to start the evo up. The damn evo start right up. My race evo, especially when it's sitting for a long time it takes a good amount cranking before the engine turn over. I was very impress. The car idle very smooth, I also notice my evo jerkiness around 1600rpm is now gone. I can't wait to test it for real at the track next month when it's super hot. Once again thank you Craig@SparkTech for awesome product, customer services and sponsor

We went above and beyond my expectation..........

...Charlie@C-Spec Tuning

Don't worry Craig, once the evo get a wash it will get SparkTech stickers on all corners

Hey im curious as to how this effects a tune. For instance..If i get my car tuned on day 1 and install sparktech day 2 is there going to be anything i need to change to get the most out of it?

another happy Sparktech Non-CDI customer, congrats. As for the question above, I had a tune and installed the Non-Cdi a while after and it just made the car drive smoother and the powerband more consistent. Good luck

Can't go wrong with SparkTech! We should shipped one of these units to a customer.
