Short review on ZFR short shifter and base bushings
I installed my ZFR SS and base bushings last week. Put almost 200 miles on the car since the install. No issues so far. Shifter has actually felt better since the initial install. It was a little stiff at first but it has loosened up a bit.
I bought the shifter and bushings from Ebay. I was actually waiting for cheaper short shifters like Ebay sellers have for the CT9A's but I couldn't wait and got the ZFR instead. It has about the same specs as another company's SS but this was 2/3 the price and came with the base bushings. The install was pretty simple. The bushings fit perfectly. The shifter fit great. It came with instructions that were pretty comprehensive except for lack of pictures.
There were a couple of things that made the install longer then it should have been. It took me a while to pry the locking disk things out. I did not have a Dremel so it took longer to get out. Also, I do not have a table vice to remove the little plastic cup from the bottom of the stock shifter. The cup eventually came out by hand just by pushing hard on one side of the cup.
All in all, I am happy with the SS and bushings. Like I said earlier in the post, the shifter was a bit stiff when I first installed it. It has loosened up some now. The throws are nice. Feels like the advertised 30% throw reduction or maybe a little bit more then 30%. My shift knob fit perfectly. Actually the shift pattern was off on the stock shifter but it is lined up now. Lol. The offset of the shifter towards the driver was a nice addition.

I did not take any pics during install. Sorry. I thought of taking a pic of both shifters side by side but thought of it too late. It does sit lower then stock but would probably be hard to tell from a pic.
