Buschur, simply the best there is.
I have to give thanks where thanks is due, david and nick, you guys are simply the best there is and i can say i consider you guys a great friend. For the countless questions ive asked both of you guys you have NEVER steered me in the wrong direction and the most part about it is that you guys are HONEST and not just out to make a buck.
Now thats out of the way, i had a motor build in progress with david, he was building me a 2.0LR steel rod motor. As it was almost complete, dave, the crazy bastard he is contacts me offering the 2.0LR alum rod motor out of BADBISH. Everytime he offers me something i cant refuse it for some reason, its like friggin crack . Needless to say i said scratch that steel rod motor and i will be down to pick up that bad boy as soon as its out.
Fast forward to a week later, david already has the motor out of the car and assembled with the parts i had sent him . This man does not mess around!
2 days after i picked up the motor and had it in the my car, the car fired right up but then died, called up dave and explained the situation. its like he was looking over my engine bay and knew exactly what was wrong, turned out to be just a pinched FPR line.. DOH! But, thanks to dave ive wouldve never even bothered to check that.
alright enough rambling lol, here is my new mod list for this year and my quest for my 9 second pass.. my ultimate goal is a 9.7 with the car, dave laughed at me at that too and said i will have no problems.

I don't know the life expectancy of a aluminum rod, but vwjeff had over 7k on his alum rod motor when he had it refreshed. When David checked everything it was still perfectly fine, I don't drive my car much at all (maybe 1500 miles/year) so I don't see myself giving this a refresh anytime soon at all.

When you finally get up off your **** and move down here, you will find you will be putting more miles on your car per year than that.... A lot more...

Thanks for the great review, we truly appreciate your business. That car will go 9.70's easily! You need a tire good enough to get it to hook and not wheel hop and you are golden. That engine/head/cams ran 9.3 with no traction in my car at 158.xx mph.
The rods are fine achilles, there's only a 100 miles on the engine maybe, 20 dyno runs and another 15, 1/4 mile runs.
I'm looking forward to tuning it on the stock ECU and SD, it'll be interesting to see how it comes out.
