.:Road Race Engineering (RRE) Prevails:.
I can not say how much I truly appreciate the help/work you guys performed last weekend....
Problem:
I had an issue with my clutch the first session only getting in (1) hot lap... knowing that RRE is closed on weekends and my car being driven to the track, I thought I was stranded for good.
Luck did not fail, it prevailed...
Key points:
- Honda Robert going out of his way (2hr drive) to pick me up with his personal truck and trailer to tow my car back to the shop
- Mike Welch coordinating the efforts to have me back in competition again
- And last but not least, Ruben coming in on his off day at 9PM to help perform a clutch install that normally takes several hours to do. Having mastered the install Ruben was able to do it in 2hrs...!
Conclusion:
with all their efforts I was able to get back on the road and head back to Willow Springs and place 2nd in the new SpeedVentures Time Attack, sanctioned by Redline TA...
All in all, it shows what a great group of guys Mike W. has working for him at RRE...!
I can not stress how much RRE is there for their customers. And this truly shows that demeanor...!
