Deka ETX14 mini battery
A quick little review of the deka etx14 mini battery. Well I had it installed for a little over 4 months with a hacked oem tray and custom tie down. Never gave me any problems starts up like a stock battery just a lot lighter 12lbs. Looks really good plain and simple i dont like the blingy red batterys being iam in cali so stealth is key. Well anyways i drove the car for 2 months and then decided to change my setup so it sat for over 2 months without being started or charged well i finished up my changes yesterday and i thought dang I might have to charge the battery considering I needed to prime the new turbo with oil so that involved cranking the car over multiple times. Well to my surprise it cranked over like bran new and let me prime the turbo for at least over 1-2min combined cranking time and then started right up and has been cranking like new since. For the $65 bucks i spent total for my mini batt kit (had spare aluminum for tie strap) it was money well spent. Pics of setup

+1 for the Deka. When my Odyssey died I figured I'd take the chance on one of these and have been completely happy with the results. The people at the battery store thought I was nuts for putting this in a car
Not to mention it was 4.1lbs lighter:
Odyssey PC680 - 15.4lbs
Deka ETX14 - 11.3lbs

Like said above Deka is the original mfr and alot of the others rebadge. Big Crank, Powersports are the two I can recall.
I went with the ETX16L which just so happens to be as wide as the depth is on the stock battery tray. =) So turn it side ways and it fits really snugly. It is however ~4-5lbs or so heavier than the ETX14. More CCA too though so its a trade off =).
Really inexpensive compared to braile batteries or odysseys as well.

smaller battery is great for people in warmer climate, as someone who's experience freezing temps i run varta ytx20-bs, which is etx20l equivalent, runs good and smooth even during winter.

I have an ETX14 that I haven't installed yet. Just wondering what you used for terminal adapters? Will terminals like this work? http://www.amazon.com/Automotive-Bat...ef=pd_sim_sg_1
