I had this same problem. Mine leaked exactly where evo2nv79 pointed out. I took mine apart and tightened them down again and the leak went away. I never noticed til i filled the tank either that it was leaking.

WHOA! Hold on, first thing to do is dial this number 440-839-1900, that's our shop and it will get you the right answer quickly.

MY guess is you didn't install the gasket between the double pumper and the tank. Did you put the thick rubber gasket back in? What you are describing is no minor leak.

The fitting for the wiring and the fitting for the fuel I will put money on being tight if that was bought within the last year. We now triple check all that before they leave here to save any issues.

Sorry david... That really should of been my first step. I apologize. The unit was bought within the last year. I installed the unit a long time before the build was completed. I will get the tank down to about 1/4 tank and take the unit out and check it. I put the car aside for the holidays because i will not get a chance to play with it.

Mine leaked as well. So did my buddies. Don't pump after the gas pump clicks off

There is no reason for them to leak. 99% of the time it's because people forget to re-install the big rubber gasket between the fuel pump assembly and the tank top. I fill my car to the top of the filler neck and there are no leaks.

To start of i must say i love the double pumper! excellent product, works just like it should.

BUT i have this leaking problem too, have had it for months, just have not had time to get in there and fix it. Im running on E85 and the car is only used on weekends. And i have just not filled the car up when i do go fill it. It leaks at such a rate that i thought it must have been the gasket between the plastic assembly and the tank itself that is not in there. But pulled it apart and its there and good.
Best i can tell the leak is coming from the two aluminium connections that attach to each pump, just like some have said they have seen. But my leak does not seem to be coming from the fitting but from the area where the fitting gos through the plastic assembly.

I will go and tighten the fittings and re-look at the gromet (red and black wire) and let you know what i find.

So you guys know we are now sealing the tops with an additional step so hopefully we will never have to see anymore problems. I don't like leaking fuel.

Did you find it was coming from two aluminium adapters that attach to the fuel pumps?
