Review : AMS Turbo Back Exhaust
Let me first thank AMS Performance for the great customer service and fast shipping (called them early and they shipped everything the same day)
So heres a short review of how I'm liking the exhaust thus far:
Quality: First thing I noticed was the Widemouth, and what a work of art it is. Welds are perfect, the whole piece looks fantastic, as does the rest of the exhaust
Fitment: Whoever says their AMS testpipe rattles against the driveshaft has not installed it correctly, the fitment is great on this exhaust, it took only 15 min to install with no issues on my buddy's lift.
Performance: Well I'm still waiting on some other parts to get tuned, but with the exhaust alone I definitely feel the turbo spooling quicker and the car just pulls smoother and stronger. The butt dyno is extremely pleased.
Sound: Perfection. I wanted something loud, and that's what I got. Seriously, if you want a quiet exhaust (No idea why anyone would want that ) this isn't the exhaust for you. It isn't as loud as say a V2 Extreme, but I've gotten quite a few pops and back fires around city driving and it absolutely screams at WOT . There is a bit of drone at about 3k RPM highway driving but this is some of the risks you have to take to have a badass sounding exhaust. It's all about preference and I absolutely love hearing that huge pop changing gear at redline.
Hope this review helped!
