ETS Turbo Back Exhaust System Review

The system has been on for about a month. I am very happy with the ETS system. First I will add to the already supurb cystomer service reputation that ETS has by saying that it is nothing short of amazing. The guys at ETS really strive to provide excellent customer service.

I did a good amount of research and 90% of it was done on evom. The wealth of information on evom is fantastic. It is what has allowed me to find a super system. My goal was to find a quality 3" stainless steel tbe system with great sound and top notch quality. Initially I was going to have a mixed manufacturer component system but in the end I was lucky to find my needs with a full ETS system. I went with the following:

ETS Down pipe - open dump
ETS test pipe
ETS V2 cat back - mid level version

The ETS down pipe imo is the best engineered in the industry. The design really makes sense and minimizes turbulence the most out of all the designs available when it comes to recirculating down pipes. The open dump obviously completely eliminates it by completely removing the waste gate gases from the exhaust. Running a open dump down pipe has the effect of pretty much running a recirculating 4" diameter piping tbe system. Under wot the car sounds like a vicious monster.

I am very happy with the test pipe bc ETS incorporates a "j" extension for the o2 sensor connection. This leads to no codes being thrown, no ecu modification needed! The pipe also incorporates a slight bend for best fitment with no rubbing. Two engineering features that make this test pipe tops!

The v2 standard cat back is excellent. Just loud enough to sound mean but one can manipulate the decibel output to sneak past the law if need be. Ive driven by plenty of officers and was able to avoid unwarranted attention. Knock on wood. On the other hand under wot the system sounds beastly. The system has a great tone imo.

Being able to run a tbe system with all the components coming from one manufacturer really allows you to avoid fitment headaches. Second, all the components possess the same craftsmanship. With ETS the craftsmanship is top notch. The welds look very good on all the pieces and a life time warranty is icing on the cake.

A tip for the best exhaust fitment is to use torque solutions exhaust mounts. Since ETS engineered their system to match a oem fit, the torque solutions mounts fit perfect as they are designed for the oem exhaust.

Some additional obsrvations to note are improved fuel milage and increased torque. I haven't performed any exact figure computations but it is apparent to me that I am getting more milage out of each tank. Being that the stock tune is rich, the addition of my setup has leaned out the afr for the better. I also feel more torque through all the rpm ranges. The car pulls harder with less throatle input. Under wot I receive a asc warning/maintenance indicator. A ignition cycle removes it. Basically the car is making more torque than the torque maps are tuned for. Updating the ecu will resolve the issue. The car is currently running the stock tune. I look forward to a pro tune once I install an intake and ic piping.

More pics and future vids to be added:

I have the V2 Quiet and I like the low rumble better, but either way you can't go wrong with a complete ETS system.

If anything it's extremely faint. Nothing to be concerned about. Faint enough that one would wonder if it was their mind playing tricks on them. Enjoy with confidence.
