Hi guys,
The fuel cell was actually installed after Shiv left so all the race gas tuning was done with the factory fuel tank. The dyno used as a Dyno Dynamics Dyno. The car also has a stock clutch, hence, no sub-4 sec 0-60mph! We got a call from Tuner Transformation today. They are shipping back to the fuel cell to us and then we're shipping it back off to the jamevo8. But first, we'll use it for pictures and to document the installation. This will make the install a whole lot easier.

oh, sorry man! It seems like right after he takes his foot off the gas a really short sound comes out, like an after market blow off valve but really short. I didn't think you guys did any intake mods to the car.

By the way, I was looking for a cheap cheap upgrade for my evo before I get some vishnu stuff. I was looking at a K&N drop-in filter, what you guys think? Any other recommendations?

Sorry for slightly thread jacking the thread!

Hahah its ok. We haven't tested any drop in filters. If you touch the intake, just do the drop in and that's it...I'll have to pay attention to the sound when it airs here lol. I'm not sure if Shiv had em do the forge dv on the car or not, that could be it...

We do tune cars with filters all the time. I dont think they do much except save the owner some money with replacing stock filters over the life of the car. I advise to not over oil them as they might gunk up the MAF

Yeah they call him " Shiv Vishnu from Vishnu Performance"

They got both his and the companies name right. The blonde dude was jackin' Shiv though. He told told the owner " This car was tunned by Shiv, himself!"
I not sure the owner was gettin' it.......

Yeah I have to agree, plus the ancillary though minor problems that crop up afterwards just aren't worth the headaches.

You really have to require alot of airflow to really need to upgrade that air box...

I run the HKS filter in the stock airbox ... it's dry and all it does is lean out the car somewhat and make the turbo and BOV louder ... IMHO well worth it for ~$40.

I won't get to see the episode until tomorrow ... had a buddy tape it for me. But nice job guys... Need to run some kind of video capture that says something like:

Mitsubishi Evolution VIII - $30K
Aftermarket parts - $5K
Being tuned by "Shiv Vishnu" ... priceless

Damn, I missed it earlier today, but luckily it comes on again at 10. So they only gave him a 5k budget? That sucks. They gave the SRT-4 10k. That would have made for a 500hp evo!!!!

Nice work Shiv Vishnu. It's nice to put a voice and face to the shiv@vishnu handle. I'm glad you weren't wearing your Pradas and RayBan sunglasses .

Seriously, great work. The exhaust looked ridiculous and sounded sweet. 55 second install, huh. Is Vishun Tuning going to have a drive-thru install soon?

Great work. Jeff, you're one lucky S.O.B.

The noise you hear is a turbo xs RFL blow off valve I installed before I gave them my car.
