ok ok back on task ... sheesh.. ti shaft for earlier spool up and transient response and if you get the whole turbo you can sell your stock one to recover some cost. Not to mention what is really important, you will not ruin your trusty old snap ring pliers.

Question for you Sam.. which 02 housing did you use?

[QUOTE]you will not ruin your trusty old snap ring pliers.

why would you ruin snap ring pliers by putting a hotside on?...no need to touch the snap ring

I re-used the stock O2 housing. I must admit, being new to the car I wasn't aware that the O2 housing could have or should have been replaced at that point, nor did I really know that there were AM ones that helped out. In hindsight, I would have replaced it for even more fun.

Hey EvoSam are you still happy with your setup? Any problems that you discovered?

I am at stage 1 and I am thinking of a larger turbo or do what you did.

Thanks

I still love this setup, it still amazes me how driveable the car is. It drives so much like stock until you need the power, then it's there right quick. So far I can't find anything to complain about, other than I should have done the O2 housing at the same time.

Hi Sam,

First of all, congrats on what looks to be a very nice setup. I'm looking at upgrading my stage 1+ to a ported TME from Buschur this spring.

However, it looks like your dyno chart is off (surprised nobody noticed it yet). The stage 1++ run shows the HP/Torque crossover point at ~4900rpm - it should have been at 5250, so the settings for the dyno run were off. Actually it's not a bad thing, since it means that you should have been making even more HP ...

Blame the printer. There are other charts that just plot the 1++ runs and the crossover is 5250 as it should be.

It was a nice dyno but the graphs it spit out were not as great as I'd hoped they would be.
