Are these graphs (wrx stg 1 & evo 1+) custom tunes or baselines?

Thanks

Nice run...I'm running Cobb tuning stage 2 right now...I'm putting down 224...on 93 oct
What gains would I see if I switched over to your stage 2. and what parts of your stage 2 would I need to buy? I already have a turbo back exhaust, Codds stage 2 is turbo back exhaust and a hand held plug and play.

Shiv,

Basically what I'm trying to do is figure out the best Route to get me to 300 WHP
I'm kind of taped out with cobb...all they really have left to offer is new fuel maps for the accessport...and the only maps they have left for me is a Map if I add and Up pipe, and a map if I have add an Intake and we all know intakes suck on WRXs', so I really don't want to go that route.
so if I did go that route, it's probably only going to get me to about 310 - 320 at the crank...Far short of my goal

I'm figuring about 22% drive train loss, so I need to get to about 385-400 at the crank

Any advice would be great...thanks

looks like you have lots of reading to do my fellow WRXer.

Vishnu's Stage 2 is a VF30/34,STI injectors, up, TBE, IC hoses, reflash/xede.

Cobb has the Stage 2.5 which is a VF30/34, STI injectors, up, TBE, AccessPort.

Just from my searching, and knowing people that know some people....it looks like Vishnus stages put out more power than Cobbs...and this is coming from a Cobb customer.

FWIW- some guy had a Vishnu unichip for Stage 0 and was running UP,TBE and put down ~10whp more power than a Cobb stage 2.

If you want 300whp on a Mustang AWD dyno, its not going to happen with a VF series turbo on pump gas. Out here in Cali on 91 oct a Vishnu stage 2 should put down 280-290whp on a Dynojet dyno.

At this point, I kind of wish I didn't spend the money on the Cobb Stuff...but I will say it was a Quick Fix for some power.

Shiv...I checked out you site for the first time last night...you've got some REAL NICE packages for us WRX guys...wish I had seen your stuff first...

Guess it's time to start saving some money again seeing that the new trans and clutch I bought in December just about killed my bank account.

On another note...or Question you could say...
I happen to have a Slightly used TD05HR-16G6 (2800 miles on it) that I took out of an EVO from a junk yard (you'd be surprised what you can find in those places)...but any way
If I used that Turbo, STI injectors, STI up pipe, Cobbs TBE, IC hoses, and a reflash, where do you guys think that would land me on a Mustang AWD Dyno?

Thanks again

How are you planning to mount that turbo on your car? Are you going to have it reflanged?

Would be interesting to see what the Evo 16G would do on a WRX. I wonder what effect the longer manifold runners and shorter stroke (lower Exh. Gas Velocity) would ahve on it's spoolup.

to put that turbo on a wrx you need to get a twin scroll header. i know they have them, but i think you need to replace your oil pan to get them to fit.
