Vishnu S.M.A.R.T. Dyno Day at Tuning Technologies Results - Muy Caliente

Here are most of the results from the dyno day we just finished. It was hot, it was late. It wasn't "fun." Participants: please pm me or add comments about what mods you had. I know I missed a few things. If anyone would like me to overlay maps from two different cars, let me know. I love Winpep Viewer.

Alex Alex: Stage 1++ S.M.A.R.T

Atlvalet: White Rabbit with STOCK cams, full exhaust, ported exhaust mani, no cat, mr bov, 680 injectors

Jaylenospoolboy: Vishnu Stage 2, 264/264 cams, leaky wastegate (notice how much better spool is on the earlier runs before it started leaking

Superman105: Stage 1+

Chickenbrest: Buschur stage 4 with alky kit:

d evo 1: Cams and full exhaust only, no White Rabbit.

Masterblaster: AMS 3076 kit

EvoTio: Stage 1 w/h2o injection on 91 and no h20 on 103 unlead. See the persistent dip that doesn't get fixed til the end? That was a Dynoflash Stage Rev gone bad. Shiv had to reflash the ECU to get rid of it.

SSRx7: Exhaust with cat only:

Slightly unfair comparison but here is IE Evo's (Green) stage 3 3037 in very cool weather overlayed with Jaylenospoolboy (Blue) stage 2 3037 (hot weather and leaky wastegate), and Masterblaster's (Red)AMS 3076 (extremely hot weather 107 degrees):

Im looking at the A/F plots Superman105 and AlexAlex sheets, were these runs done on race gas or was the a/f probe off?

So what was the overall concensus about the WR? Numbers appear to look better than other threads have suggested. Perhaps not a 400HP bolt-on without race gas and 27 psi. Nonetheless, "d evo 1" managed to put down 322HP/312 TQ with only an exhaust and Eric did 339HP/322TQ with exhaust, injectors, and MR DV. Were thses runs done on 91 octane? If so, that's very respectable considering the level of mods and the scorching temperatures during the pulls.

Smoggy,

How about an overlay of Alex Alex, Altvalet, and d evo 1? Does Alex Alex have a TME turbo?

Since I believe that Eric has stock cams (correct me if I'm wrong Eric), this is a better comparison:

This WR has full exhaust, no cat, cam gears??. The other car making less power is a standard Vishnu stage 1 on an 03 turbo (full exhaust, cam gears). Both are on unleaded 103.

38 more ft. lbs. is nothing to sneeze at, But the 10.5 Ti turbo is good for 25 to 30 ft lbs by itself. So the WR may be marginally better than the 10.5 Ti.

I think its interesting how much smoother Alex Alex's curve is with the SMART enabled on his EVO. Alex Alex, how does the SMART feel on your car now?

From what I can see, the SMART adjusts according to the different temperature readings and other factors. Since it was a super hot day for the Dyno over the weekend and the graph overlayed with IE's done on a cool day. The HP is close.
So the SMART tries to get you the max/smooth HP for different conditions everytime.
