Super Four Shootout ?s
Hey guys... just got the new Super Four Shootout with the Buschur and HKS cars. Did they run the same course that you guys did last year? and if they did, how do the results compare to how you guys did?

It was the same track/testing configuration. The only exception being that we had to accelerate to and brake from 150mph, not 140mph as did the Superfour guys. That said, our overall time was approx 2 seconds longer than winning HKS car. But I think it's safe to say that having to accelerate to and brake from the higher speed took a bit longer than 2 extra secs (more like 5-6 sec, I'm guessing). So yes, I think its safe to say the shop car and Paul G. could have laid down some smack

How about kudos for the HKS car and leave it at that. If you want to lay down the smack you have to compete

BFG KDs. We would have used the new Neovas (standard Semi R-compound tire that comes standard on the Elise) but they weren't available last year Both are great tires but the Neovas are stickier. At least according to Tire Rack. We have yet to try it ourselves.

Always amazing to see how people either don't stop to read all posts or just don't comprehend what was said. Ruchmate asked a straightforward question and got a straightforward answer from Shiv ... no need to get all bent out of shape. Many kudos go to ALL Evos that choose to compete in various magazine articles/contests.
