what do you mean by different? all the ones he has tested has been +/- 3-5 hp max.

the gains on the 9s are simply disgusting.. without a cat taht car would haev made 305.. thats only 14 less than the 125k porsche.

i cant wait to see what teh 911 will make with the flash... and perhaps and xede?

Shiv,
Is there anything out there, as far as piggybacks, for the Motronic 930s? I am considering getting a 930 and want to know my engine management choices available. The only thing I can find are flashed chips, yuk! All I want is 600 lb/ft of torque... I wonder if the G50 tranny can hold up...hmmmm. Imagine...a 3.3 litre with a T88...woof!

shiv, very impressive gains with a 9 and which makes me respect you all the more. Your careful explanations really reel me into this thread. But I'm wondering, since cams and gears are not in development for the MIVEC, can you say that you hit a performace "ceiling" b/c of this? Can aftermarket cams/gears exponentially add more power in the top end? That is really what is stopping me from getting the 9, plus the fact that the evo 10 may be rolling around the corner. Thoughts?

teh 911 is A LOT HARDER TO DRIVE than teh evo however; its limits are also higher due to its huge tires and amazign suspsnsion.

Sick! With a TP and 93 octane tune I bet the edge would go to the IX.

But don't forget, the Porsche will be on 93 too. The graph here is a Porsche on 91.
