Hi guys,
I just my tickets tickets... i'll be flying in to Seattle on Saturday morning and leaving Sunday morning. The only problem is that I don't arrive until 9am on Saturday and the first car is scheduled to start at 9am. Is it okay to start bolting the first car onto the dyno while someone picks me up from the airport which is only 25 miles away? Should be ready to rock by 9.30-9.45. There's an hour break around lunchtime but i'll be willing to work right through it and make up time. I fully expect the dyno day to go longer than the planned schedule. That's why I'm flying out the next day and not later that night.
Moses-- Still up for picking me up at the airport and dropping my butt back at the hotel (just 2 miles from the airport) later that night when all the cars are done?
Cheers,
shiv

I would be happier if my car didn't run like complete crap now. The 880cc injectors and reflash have my car stalling everywhere. Of course, its damn near impossible to restart after it stalls too. I have a feeling the car won't even run tomorrow morning in the cold.

Tips for a happy dyno day.
1. If you are getting a race gas map, then make sure your gas light is on when you arrive to the dyno. Bring as much race gas as you can carry (5-10gallons).
2. Check for any boost leaks. Check all your I/C clamps and BOV clamps.
3. If your getting a race gas map, make sure your BOV isn't leaking. If your BOV is adjustable, crank it down tight.
4. Everyone should remove there spark plug cover (The big plastic piece that says "Mitsubishi"). This is for spark plug replacement if needed. Removing the piece while the car is hot can strip the threads.
5. Check for exhaust leaks.
6. Check all your fluids
7. If you have a custom intake, please bring your stock intake box w/ filter.
I will be bringing some tools and some extra parts if someone runs into some issues. I am bringing an extra BOV, MBC, vacuum lines, accurate boost gauge, spark plugs, etc.

I know you are making big power but I don't see why you need bigger than 780s. I have the 880s in my car with no stall issues. Well, once in a while it stalls but rare enough to not be an issue. My cam gears are set at 0, I run 272 cams (HKS), Forge BOV, stock throttle body, and have an aftermarket K&N intake. I wonder if my increased displacement helps with the idle... Get a good OBDII logger and check your short and long term fuel trims. Shiv should be able to tell if he needs to make an adjustment one way or the other by seeing this info.
Good luck,
Tom

Another interesting note: My noise floor has dropped w/ 880cc injectors.
