100 oct+ map question on 550kit?

i have been searching the following but i havent found nothing with specific detail:

1- a friend of mine is installing a v550kit we have seen that with 100oct map on some cars you get like 430whp but when using ms109 you get like 480whp so our question is when they use the ms109 are they using a different 100oct map or the basic 100oct map the xede comes with?? also using ms109 will i get more power out of any 100oct map for any other kit?
2- the upper intercooler pipe that comes with the v550kit he wont install it cause he has an injen upper intercooler pipe,he wants to sell me this piece for my v360 kit if i install this part to my car will it improve hp or torque ??
thanks

They are using a different maps (less fuel, more timing) and more boost when using MS109.

Yup, different maps, about 35 - 40 hp difference.

VP 109 is equal to 105 octane; research octane (101) + motor octane (109)/2.

That means 5 more points than VP 100 or about 7- 8 hp per point.

ms 109 is the ****. i cant wait for a retune @ high boost. The car runs a lot smoother on 109. Cars have made 480 whp+ on teh tuning tech dyno with a 3037 and ms 109. This is all done with a custom tune from shiv.

Mine are for stage 2 550, 272 cams set at -2, -2, 3037S turbo, 2.0 motor, signature exhaust, test pipe, Xede covering boost, and SMART.

REMEMBER EVERY CAR IS DIFFERENT SO USE THESE MAPS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I have maps for

VP 109

98 octane blend which would be fine with VP 100 octane

91 octane california

You are welcome to them

When you use the 109 you MUST drain your tank. We used the fuel rail return line until the car began to stall.

If you have a dyno in Honduras, I suggest you use it to dial in the maps to your specific set-up. Otherwise there is a good likelyhood you will blow up you motor.

You need to be very careful when using an aggressive map like one for MS109. If you are going to use Jaylenospoolboy map, then you should buy the knock buffer and use the XEDE to monitor knock.

It's like buying insurance you don't need. It won't hurt, except your wallet, and if the 109 is all you can get the extra octane won't hurt.
