Tales From the Dyno 3/14: Vu's EVO 9

Vu came in today to get his Evo IX reflashed. It came in sporting a standard exhaust system with free-flow cat. As usual, even with these bolt-on mods, the car put down stock-like power with the stock ECU (~230whp) With the reflash, things changed big-time.

Whp and Torque (Before and After Reflash)

Boost and AFR (Before and After Reflash)

6 pulls in between......did you tweak your basemap at all or were those just extra pulls with the base reflash to verify everything? Sick....simply sick.

I think a trip to Norcal is in order. 80 wheel torque is a lot. How long does the stock clutch hold up with that?

A stock clutch will handle a lot. What it won't handle is abuse and clutch drops... Just gotta find a balance between fun and abuse in my experience.

looks like my recent dyno graph.... I gained so much damn torque its insane!!!! Like Shiv said, with exhaust and stock ECU, the power output is close to stock. However after the flash it really wakes everything up.

For my graph - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...no+day+results

+63whp with just exhaust...
