Unimpressive given your level of mods. Should be making enough power to trap in the 130s with that built motor. Even without NOS.

Shiv, Al, HOLD ON! I'm gonna go microwave some popcorn. I'll be right back. (Way better than pay per view.)

Heh. You REALLY suck at drag racing But I would love my times to be 11.6, So I can't laugh!

To be honest... I don't think anyone will touch Buschur once he gets his new setup running. They have a whole host of Turbo's to bolt on. They have REALLY experienced drivers plus the fact they take their car to the track frequently.

Apparently, you weren't converted to being a weekend drag racer from your latest trip. Bummer, because you have much better times inside your car. But for selling a "package" that includes everything with a conservative tune...this sounds like a nice no hasstle setup. Not to mention this was far better than any verbal jousting you could have done.

1000 9.666

I'll give you a hint on drag racing - 2nd or 3rd place is still 2nd or 3rd place in drag racing no matter how you spin it or what excuses you make!

BTW - I also went 11.62 with no NOS - I am curently the quickest with and without NOS

Good luck
Al, get out of here with your butthurt crying! He did that with a 1.9x 60' and no giggle gas. His car would crush yours and you know it!

Shiv, go at a less crowded time and get techniques like shallow staging down. I want to see you squash Al the windbag like a bug!

I think I need to hurry up and order my Xflash before the 31st!!

Shiv,

Good Job!

No wonder it feels so much faster than Dave's car!
So when is the stage 2 ready for us?

You almost hit it dead-on, Steve. In Shootout Mode, it showed right around 545hp, which correlates almost perfectly with any good hp/trap speed calculator. Wheel hp, on every run, was between 435 and 440whp. By comparison, stock cars make a repeatable 195-200whp on the same dyno, with the same settings. It's funny how much more realistic the DD dyno is compared to all the nunbers floating around from Dynapacs, DTS and Dynojet dynos. It gives lower numbers, sure. But they are more accurate

Yeah, just think of what you could have done if you tuned your car in between passes at the drag strip with a datalogger that logged knock sum?

I forgot that you can't do that, though.

Nice times, but you can do better.

Shiv -

You rock, Mister! Get new rubber on that thing and have at it again. The additional rolling diameter should do the trick. Leave the spare and the tool kit at the shop (45 lbs). Do I hear an 11.5 coming up?

Forget 11.50s, I want to see 11.30s with a great 60'! I want Al to have to go out (and blow his drivetrain to pieces) trying to reclaim his title of "Fastest Evo VIII in the world evAr"!
