Ferodo DS2500 pads?

Shiv,

Can you source these for stock? I'd rather give my money to you than another vendor!

I got the 3000's from Shiv, but haven't put them on yet. Not sure if they will squeal or not. I know someone that's running them and they do squeal for him, but he's not using the pad shims. I wonder if that + some anti-squeal would keep them quiet?

Yeah, I talked to raceshopper.com over email. Really nice guys. Would you guys definitely do the rears as well, or just fronts? Andrew told me my pads felt a bit thin, and I pulled the wheels to check them last evening. The rears look great, but the fronts are thinner. Thoughts?

shims

I have the 2500's all around w/OE shims; as much squeal as the OE pads

Getting all 4 at Andrew's advice. Thanks Andrew!

Might want to look in to Pagid Oranges too. We're running them now with the Stoptech brakes and they are great. Very quiet with a very wide range of operating temps. The Ferrodos tend to make a bit of noise. Esp the 3000s which, IMHO, are way too aggressive for street use.

What's a comparable pad to the Pagid Oranges (Ferrodo DS2500's)? I hear good stuff about the Pagid RS14's from the UK guys, have you guys had any experience with that?

I ran Pagid Oranges on my S4 w/993TT front brakes and they are an AWESOME pad. Really wide heat range, but eats up rotors in a hurry. Great pad to run during the summer months when you're too lazy to swap from street pads to track pads.

AFAIK, they are not available for the stock Evo Brembo, but are available for the Stoptech calipers. I like the DS2500 I have on the Evo, good street/light track pad.
