Vivid Project RX8

Just installed! AutoExe body kit, and Ganador mirrors. The mirrors were an easy install and come with nessasary hardware. The body kit took a bit longer. The factory apperance pkg pieces ( the side spats) I left on for now as I found that they leave 1/2" sized holes when you remove them and the AutoExe side skirts don't cover them up. I've got a plan for that though, and will be addressing it next week. Also, we just got in the first finished Production B&B catback and test pipe in today and I will be installing it tonight after work. I'll have a sound clip by Monday. Wait till you see the tips! In the meantime, enjoy the pics. Recap for the record:

-Volk LE37T 19x8.5, 19x9.5
-Falken FK-451 245/35/Z19 front, 285/34/Z19 rear
-JDM Clear corners
-JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
-Painted JDM Ganador mirrors
-AutoExe body kit
-B&B Catback exhaust
-B&B Test pipe

--waiting to get my R Magic eyelines back from the painter
--comming soon K&N Intake
--comming soon Cusco Titanium front strut brace
--comming soon Cusco sway bar

To see pics go here: http://www.vividracing.com/index.ph...ubmenu=Gallery#

I'll have a full write up on the install soon. To see other write ups go here: http://www.vividracing.com/index.ph...y=Project%20RX8

Wow, that is a nice looking RX8. I am not usually a fan of body kits, but that works really well with the shape of the car. Now, if you could only a throw a turbo on there..... We know that Mazda Speed will be coming out with a turbo in the 2005 model run, but it would be cool to be the first turbo'ed RX-8.

Autoexe are definetly creators of some of the hottest body kits around right now, I'm really feelin' them, as well as C-West and AB Flug........I used to be into Veilside, but all there kits are starting to look the same, and Bomex seems to have forgotten about all the new cars out....no kits for the 350z, RX-8, Evo 8....Guess they're too busy selling kits for Cavaliers!
