The HFS-1 is a fixed flow delivery system, you alter the flow by changing the water jet size.
The HF5-5 is a progressive system mirroring the fuel flow. Flow is controlled by an inline "high speed valve" similar to the fuel injectio system.
Both system come with a digital turbine flow sensor and a backlist 52mm gauge. It performs all the necessary failsafe functions such as low flow, excess flow and no flow. The faulsafe system is called DDS3.
The gauge on the left:
At present, we are offering this on a GB, heavily discounted.

You need to add the HSV also.
You have only just bought a system! I have work out the cost of the upgrade, I believe it will be in the region of 300 dollars. At present, for this week, the HFS-1 is offered at $495.00 (MRRP $650), provided the GB has reached its target number by the end of this week.

The HFS-1 is only a step or two from ther HFS-5. May be we should be looking for a ever higher spec system than the "5".

[QUOTE=Richard L;4166246]This is very interesting, it appeared the HFS-5 has attracted more people than the lower spec. HFS-1. Even at a higher price, it didn't deter the buyers.

I plan on purchasing the HFS -5 kit this week, I couldnt possibly purchase the
HFS-1 kit knowing that the HFS-5 exist.
With something like Alky injection, only the best will due...

Right now I think some potential users look at the HFS-1 as something too basic, but not at a basic price range (typically around $200).
IMO theres nothing basic from a user standpoint about the HFS-1. Most base W/A kits out on the market have nothing near the DDS3 capabilities........which is part of the HFS-1 kit = not really a basic W/A kit when looked at logically.
For Aquamist it's an entry level W/A kit.......I hope potential users are not mis reading things and comparing Aquamist's base W/A kit with Joe Hardware's basic W/A kit.
The HFS-1 user can later upgrade to a HFS-5 without total redesign of the install OR complete removal in order to upgrade......the user can ADD to the HFS-1 at a later date the components needed to make the HFS-1 into a HFS-5.....no problem.

at this time it is currently out of my price range. had the GB reached the 20+ goal, i would be an Aquamist owner. guess i'll keep on saving for now...
