I hope its still open, because I'm ready to buy right now. I was totally unaware of this thread, and I know that you didn't sell many of the HSF-1's because of the previous HSF-5 group buy thread. Please get back to me, I really am interested. Thanks Aquamist.

The HFS-1 is not out yet, the GB was an intoductory offer for those who can get them early with a great price.

I am not sure if I have enough energy to start it again.

For anyone interested, I have the contact info of a HFS-5 buyer who would like to resell his kit.....brand new, not used, and not installed.

Plans changed for him and his car will be sold, so he does not need his HFS-5 kit. He would like to sell his kit for the cash he spent on it. If you are interested please send an email to jackblalock @ gmail DOT com and I will give your email address to him so contact can be made.

Without re reading forum rules I do not think I'm in violation by posting this......if I am please let me know and I'll delete, I'm just trying to help this person a little.

Richard,

Do you have a side-by-side comparo of the HFS-1 vs. the HFS-5?

For a skeptical wanna be first time alky user, any suggested on-line reading?

Thanks,
Jim

Sorry for the late reply.

The main differences between the two systems:
1) Single stage and progressive with fuel flow
2) Inline valve: on/off (standard speed valve) vs PWM (High Speed valve)
3) Comes with a 22cc surge arrestor/accumulator (HFS-5)

The similarity between the two:
4) 150W/125psi shurflo pump
5) DDS3-v8 fail-safe flow monitoring system (with dash gauge)
6) All necessary fittings and wire harness
7) Neither system comes with a tank
8) Three jets + 2x Nickel plated Brass hard pipe adaptor
9) Y-piece for twin jet operations.
10) 100 micron inline fliter

HFS-1 to HFS-5 upgrade path.

So, when is the HFS-1 going to be available, and at what price point then?

What would it cost, approximately to upgrade to the HFS 5?

We will be shipping the HFS-1 from 1st June to the States. The HFS-1 will be $650.00. Upgrage to HFS-5 will be at ~$300. If you purchase the HFS-5 direct, it will be $895.00, saving of ~$50.00

Does anyone plan on having a group buy for the HFS-1, like they did for the 5? If so, I'd like to see if I can get in on it ...

thx

so how does this trigger a safety? Does someone make a solenoid that can be used to open up and go to waste-gate pressure?
