Did I mention that there is even a trigger and alarm for a flow sensor input?

I am excited that Zeitronix leads the way for meth injection users with their amazing multi angled protection system.

Aquamist should be taking notes.
from a person who has both Aquamist and Zeitronix products, you 2 company have done excellent in putting out a tremendously well engineered product/s.

those who should take notes are those companies putting out ghetto sh*t - selling alky w/o failsafes, with half-*** failsafes...hose clamps/barb fitting crap, off the shelf slap together product!

Can someone please post a How to install the Zeitronix Boost failsafe (solenoid & relay)? I received them yesterday, but there are no instructions ....

Also, any recommendations on the ZT2 failsafe programming? Should I just say if Boost > 18 psi and AFR > 11.8, then trigger alarm / trip solenoid??

Thanks in advance!

The parameters will depend on the kit type, nozzle size, pressure, manifold type, EGT probe type, etc.

Have you looked at the wiring diagram on the ZAVT instructions?

I am still having problems with mine as well. Got everything installed ok but the alarm on the ZAVT is always going off. I disconnected the relay wire and its still going off. Any other thoughts?

How are the alarm values set up? Perhaps you have one (or more) values exciding the triggering point. Open the ZDL software, press "W" while logging on a PC and remove all values from simple and complex alarms. Of course make sure the ZAVT-1 is wired correctly into the Zt-2. Blue ZAVT-1 wire into white/blue stripe Zt-2 wire.

I even turned all the alarms off and it still does it. Yep, to the blue/white stripe.

Step 1
Connect only ZAVT-1 RED wire to +12V, BLACK wire to ground. Do not connect WHITE nor BLUE wires to anything. Are you still getting the alarm?
Step 2
With the Zt-2 logging (graphs on the screen) press W and make sure to remove all alarms or change to high values (ex EGT 900C)
With ZAVT-1 +12V and ground already present connect only white blue stripe Zt-2 wire into ZAVT blue. Make sure nothing else connects to that wire. Are you still getting the alarm?

Open the ZDL software, power up the Zt-2, make sure it logs. Got to help about. Email the entire product code to sales at zeitronix dot com.

What 12v source do you recommend tapping into?

12V ignition or the Zt-2 red wire.

Good, the white relay wire was your problem.

The ZAVT-1 WHITE wire is meant to be connected to the relay only, where the relay 86 pin is pulled up to +12V. You are probably grounding the relay. Just follow this diagram:

OK this is what I got from Scott / TTP (Thanks a ton Scott!):

Relay for Boost Solenoid
red= 12v, blk 12v, green =solenoid, blue = unused, white= zavt output

Boost Solenoid
Basically you need (2) T's -- one on the inlet side (one to solenoid and one to MBC) and then one T on the WG side (from solenoid and MBC)

I currently don't have an EGT probe, but will get one in a bit. I would like to run the car at ~28 psi (peak) on either 100% denatured Alk or 75% Meth / 25% h2o (still contemplating). That said, I think the ZT2 could act as a failsafe monitoring AFRs and Boost. So now my question to folks running similar setups:

(1) What alarms have you setup ?
(2) Do you think a basic if Boost > 18 psi and AFR > 12 would suffice ? (I thought about adding TPS in the mix, but thought it would be redundant.)

Thoughts?

Thanks again TTP!
