Alky kit w/o solenoid valve...not good!
A solenoid valve stops the flow of injectant out of the nozzle when its not needed anymore rather than allowing the excess pressure to continue jetting/dribbling out. Outcome might be costly!

If you are shopping for an alky kit, get one with a solenoid valve.

Spraying with throttle closed, even with nonflamable water-methanol, is just asking for trouble. The three metal plugs at the bottom of TB, because they're dissimilar metals to TB, will quickly start a corrosion reaction and spread like a staph infection throughout the TB. A bucking DV would just make it worse
Happened to my car once when I hooked the controller up to the EGR vac line (which maintains no vac) and the cotrol started to spray at idle. The car backfired and eventually idled bad, pulled out the stepper motor and it was melted to high heaven. Luckily I was able to find a complete TB/intake mainfold assembly for just $200. Was one hell of a deal being worth about 4X what I paid.
If you spray at idle the methanol fills up at the lowest portion of the TB. Ever noticed the two rectangular holes at the bottom of the TB inlet? A puddle of sprayed methanol while throttle is closed will accumilate and drain from there, fumes in combustion chamber remain and the spark ends up igniting it roasting the stepper. 06 IACS are worst too being made from plastic.
I dont know if the ignition spark or the stepper coils start it, I just know that it happens

I only asked because no reputable company would sell a kit without a solenoid or checkvalve, so the video does not really apply to most situations.
I will be glad to do such as test when I have a moment.

No reputable company will:
- Use the "on-demand" switch on "cyclic" mode.
- Tell their customer to use a bigger nozzle to stop the dribble
- Would piblish a flow chart with the "on-demand" by-passed
- Calling a simple pressure switch as a CND (clogg nozzle detector)
- Adding a motorspeed controller will extend the dynamic flow range of PPS system
- Super this and Super that
- A checkvalve will make little difference to flow

Show me where I said this. I posted a video to show that a larger nozzle does not dribble. I did not say use a larger nozzle to stop it. If you look at thread I said a larger nozzle would not likely dribble and I clearly said to contact the manufacture of his kit to see what size he should have as M3 was likely too small for his WRX. As I recall I was the only vender that tried to help him. Seems like you read it and did not bother to help.

We were clear it was bypassed and we did that for a reason. We have every right to publish what ever chart we want. You are out of line.

Some Customers who buy our basic kit want the ability to see if the system is WORKING. We call it a status monitor. The concept is simple and sound. Not everyone wants a flow sensor and not everyone wants to put an LED at the pump. This will light up when there is pressure after the solenoid or checkvalve. We are very clear about hat.
