HFS-1 or HFS-5
I have been looking at both these aquamist systems.
The main difference is the HFS-1 is either on or off, not progressive. The HFS-5 mimics the fuel injector pulses, a progressive system.
They both use the same DDS3 fail safe right?
Is the progressive system safer on a daily driven car, is it worth the extra cost?
What is the advantage of the HFS-5?
Why are these 2 systems not shown on the aquamist web site?

both the hfs-1 and hfs-5 use the aquamist dds3 flow sensor based failsafe.
looking at your sig, you got a efficient 50trim setup - your torque curve is shifted to the right.
Go with the hfs-1 and have it come on ~15psig.

Your meth system looks sweet, very clean install.
Is there a reason you are running two meth nossels? Better efficiency, or just for more power?
Will one be enough for my application?

there is 2 ways to utilize meth...
- as a fuel replacement (like what i'm doing)
- or as a knock suppressant (the 2 cases below) - Al/Dynoflash prefered

I am in the process of going to smaller nozzles and getting a retune by KevinD.....i'm just chewing up too much meth and running too cold even @0.83 lambda to redline.

It looks like the hfs1 will be the best one for me.
With the dds3, fail safe. Is there some sort of solenoid that comes with the system to cut boost in case of a failure?
Do you recommend 100%meth, or a 50/50 blend with water?

DS, do you have an electronic boost controller, do you use the stock boost controller, or do you have a manual boost controller?
the kit itself does not include a solenoid valve for the failsafe, but i have put together a evo specific kit that does include a MAC valve in case you are using a manual boost controller and do need one.
also, i'm partial to the 100% meth, but i've had really good results with different mixes as well.

The HFS-1 system comprised of:
The system can be triggered by either boost or fuel duty %. A line valve controls the flow of water within 1/100th of second after the pump is activated. Water pressure is regulated by three internal by-pass valves within the 150W Shurflo pump.
Three water jets 0.8, 0.9 and 1.0mm is supplied. Two brass hard pipe adaptors and a y-piece are supplied with the system. A very comprehensive set of fitting and hose is included with the exception of a water tank.
As usual, a high degree of options for the two “failsafe” outputs, enabling user to switch map, lower boost when “low flow”, “high flow” and “no flow” is detected.
The system is highly competent in its own right easily upgradable to any one of the higher HFS end systems in the future with minimum component redundancy.

2) Inline valve: on/off (standard speed valve) vs PWM (High Speed valve)
3) Comes with a 22cc surge arrestor/accumulator (HFS-5)
