New injectors = adjust your IDC alky trigger ;)
So I had stock injectors on my car w/ HFS-1 installed. I had the trigger set to come on around 20psi, depending on the gear/rpm, etc. It worked great. I spent the last few days dialing in my new FIC 1050cc injectors. I did a few wot runs on just pump gas to test my low boost map, and it was suprisingly dialed-in. Flip on the DDS and wot....surprise! No alky!
I wasn't worried about it, thinking I must have bumped something while messing around with the car over the last week, maybe I bumped something....then I get to work this morning after logging more WOT runs....my PEAK idc is now in the neighborhood of 58%....alky is triggered by IDC %....before peak IDC was 105% on just pump, 127% on alky....DOH!
A quick spin of the dial in my DDS junction box and voila, tire-shredding alky fun is restored
Just a note for anyone with alky installing bigger injectors....CHECK YOUR TRIGGER POINT!!!
