aquamist labor cost
around how much would i plan spending to have it installed.. (hfs5).? is 1000 bucks pretty steep for this or over priced? is it worth just doing yourself if you have a basic idea what to do? thanks in advance guys.

That's why I'm installing it myself, I couldn't shell out 700-1000 for someone to do it when I have all the tools to work with and EVOM to help me out!

If you have no clue what you're doing or how to solder don't attempt it. As easy as it is once you know something, practicing on your DD is not a good idea. Also, you don't want to have a failsafe wired incorrectly and have something catastrophic happen then blame "the meth" ...do it right the first time. As they say, you gotta pay to play. Not me.

i mean i know pretty much what to do. i know a good amount of stuff and my dad is a mechanic. so im pretty sure i can get it done. thanks for help. so the dds3 and a macvalve for failsafes. i'll need to search about the macvalve. thanks

150 is just what the shop quoted me. Its the only shop that really knows how to work on Evo's and they have 3-5 evos in the shop at all times. Regardless don't spend 1000 on it.

I would do an install for 500 if you wanted to help me out I'd prob do for 400 or if you were a close friend of mine probably just trade for help on my car if I ever needed it and $0
