Braided line kit for alcohol/meth kits

Am I alone or do these plastic/nylon/Teflon lines make you nervous? If you are using your kit to fuel your motor, the line is critical. I see these plastic lines easily kink and get nicked and that can spell disaster unless your fail-safe is proven 100% effective. I also think the appearance of the plastic looks cheap and leaves a lot to be desired for those that go the extra mile to keep their engine bay and trunk (or wherever) looking show quality. Anyone know of anyone offering a braided line or high pressure hose solution for the EVO (proper length, etc..)? The armor braided line offers (and appearance) would go a long way to make me sleep better at night and not be embarrassed to open my hood.

I know how you feel. I've used the plastic lines for a while on my other car, and I've yet to have a problem with it, but I'd like to get a braided line just in case too, ven though the nylon-plastic lines are rated to 1000psi.

There's a local place that sells stainless line with plastic instead of rubber inside it and they say it wont corrode or be eaten away from the methanol, and they can press on -an fittings too. I think that will be the way I go., probably -3an?

You're not alone, I personally would never run a plastic fuel line, especially inside the cabin area. I went to a local hose shop & had a teflon lined -04 ss line made & ran it under the car.

I have run the plastic push-lock lines on my setup for 4 years and over 40,000 miles with no issues.
