Carbon Fiber Hood Group Buy
#18
I am interested, but was considering other mods first, so PM or email me when you get 4 and I'll probably jump on the band wagon and make it 5. It's all Kara's fault for planting the idea of a hood duct in my head. Which reminds me, I should have any trouble cutting a hole in this hood for an RRM duct to feed the intake, will I?

I am interested. But only to the point of buying IF it is going to be possible to install/cut evo style vents later without compromising the integrity of the hood structure. will this be possible? if i hear a convincing "yes", you can put my name on the list.
EDIT: k, i got a 'yes' answer to that question... I'm down to buy one of these. still available?

BE CAREFUL. these are not 100% CF even if they claim they are. i saw one of these ebay CF hoods and it is a crap composite. its actually pretty heavy and the weavs of CF are not straight. its a poor quality hood thats why its cheap.

Its exactly same as the hoodds in importfan.com ... Those are made by C-wings and are not vented... I would join your group buy and just pay for the shipping if ever, but im looking for a vented Lancer hood..... You guys know any vented hoods out there?.. Or can you cut the carbon fiber hood and just add scoops???

import speedzz... just get the c-wings hood (way good quality by the way ), and have a local body shop cut vents in it or put scoops in it. I'm personally gonna take mine down to RRM and see what they can do for me. ROCK is sure to want to help.
Come on bro... make it 5!!!
