this was the original comment from that post, Kara. Cutting up statements like that can make it seem as if something else were said. Read and post the entire statement before you draw a conclusion or cut up someone's words.

Everybody... lets just move on. I joined the club in the middle of all this and have just been sitting in the bleachers drinking and watching the show. I am really looking forward to the next meet and hope that it can just be a fun time with out all of the drama that is playing out on the forums. I met some cool people at the last meet and i hope that everybody that I met last time are there the next time and then some. Lets just get out and have some fun.

 

so whats the plan? both SCLC and SCLEC are both frozen...no ones talking no plans nothing...

 

I'm kinda waiting to see what happens with SCLC... cause everyone seems to want me in, but I dunno if Richard will "allow" it... so, yeah. cause I'd rather not split, ya know?

 

I agree on this one, Kara, and i'm glad you're thinking along those lines. We are starting to get some serious numbers as far as participation in our clubs, but I think there are still too few Lancers around (or at least true lancer enthusiasts) for TWO SEPERATE clubs to successfully vie for sponsorship opportunities. They'd just be too small. The issues that exist (from what I've seen, in third party, somewhat exluded observation) seem solveable, and if we can reunite as a group, I think we'll draw much more attention to ourselves. It's just gonna require the right amounts of humility and maturity on everyone's part.

I was kinda hoping a few other people could follow Deltron and Suyfergirl's examples and apologize too. That would win my respect back.

 

yeah i understand what you guys are saying...im just bugged out that the club(s) on a hault... i just started chillin with you guys too hehe lol...well its ok i can wait i just hope things get straightened out.

 

i sure hope they get fixed soon cause im really , "and no offense to anyone" getting tired of hearing about the same things. Richard was cool to me and so was Kara . so thats where im at. Can we get back to trying to set up the next meet. Please? thanks have a good day all .

 

So what after all the energy spent trying to build this group weather it be SCLC or any other name , we all just gonna bounce out or what? been since the 28th and no post. What everyone giving up? Nice dedication. I go to one meet all hell breaks loose on this site , 2 people go their seperate ways, and now nothing? So am i wasting my time here or what ? Well dissapointing as it may be i guess i'll just be a browser no and keep my comments to myself and suggestions until someone takes control of this group to make things happen , so until then nice knowin ya all , although i didnt get much of a chance to know anyone.

 

sorry, Richards been absent, and I've been waiting for him. Lets go ahead and plan a starting meet. I know of a big parking lot we could meet at in Tustin Marketplace. when is good for everyone? are saturdays better than sundays? (I have church sunday mornings but afternoons would be fine) the only thing w/ that is, is that then most of us couldn't hang out into the night... and I have bible study sunday nights... I think saturdays are good. Howbout like the 2nd saturday of the month? (that'd be this coming one) any thoughts?
