Contact SEMA and have them talk to their attornies. Tell them they are taking away your rights to modify your vehicles with legal D.O.T. approved aftermarket parts. They cannot do that. F*ck them dumb a**es. That is bull and in most cases illegal and discrimation. Can you say a class action lawsuit against the city and the state. Get everyone together that have modified vehicles and have everyone sign a petition and file complaints as long as they are emissions compliant and they are actually street legal federal law wise. Point out that you are subject to or have been targeted in a discriminatory way. They have been up to this since the 1940's and 1950's. Don't let them win by sitting around and complaining, you guys actually have to speak up and act if this is to stop

Exactly! It will spread, it always does. And once Cali does it for the whole state, the rest of the country will never be far behind. Everytime something like this goes down in Cali, the other states try to get away with it as well(OHIO tried that sh*t with us).

 

your kidding about the import thing right! us neon guys get it too, its just the camaro/stang/vette guys that can get away with crap. i work at a speed shop in san jose. you should see the camaros and stangs i get in there. one guy has a 99 camaro running full slicks, fully build motor, open headers. the car rattles every window in a 2 block radius. does he get pulled over for being totally illegal? hell no, but i get pulled over 2 days after buying my sartie for illegal exhaust modification. its bull!!!!!!!!
