Prices are Sick.. might not have to wait until the end of the year or Spring of 07'.

Also can we just say that we're having the car shipped.. Like you bring it to the shippers, put it on the truck. I fly in, pay them $200 and they take it right back of???

It's almost official...

hey 18bora,

i remembered you said you ordered your evo and having it shipped to NJ. I was hoping you could tell us if you got the evo yet and if there were any problems having it shipped all the way from california. Also, what shipping options did you choose? thanx in advance for your help.

So has anyone on here from the east coast purchased one and had it shipped? Very interested in possibly doing it but would like to hear how it went from first hand experience.

This Topic is been discuss on another thread already and its been proven that there is no way around it.....

You wont be charge double tax sometimes if your salestax is lower you can get a refund but that depends on your state, now if your tax rate is higher you will have to pay the difference..

if you want call this number bellow...
CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION there number is 714-558-4059 or 1-800-400-7115 its the CA STATE LAW guys...

If you take the delivery of the car from the dealership and planning to drive the car you will have to pay for CA TAX..

If you have a shipping company that will pick up the truck from the dealer then you wont have to pay the sales tax here in CA....

Check it yourself..

Thank You
Heres an idea to get around CA tax for out of staters.

Fly to Las Vegas, buy the car from South Coast, get it shipped to Las Vegas, drive it home from there. No CA tax, Small Shipping bill.

i thought that you have to register the car where you established residency...so you would still pay your state taxes?
