If you have a steady job maybe it wouldn't be too hard to finance a GSR? Or if you are really dying for one and RS might do the trick
you can always buy a spoiler and power windows separately

I'm located in Oregon, where we don't pay any sales tax on cars. The Government tacks on a single fee (like 75 bucks or whatever) to the car purcahse. If I bought one of these evo's and had it shipped up to me, am I still looking at price of the car + california tax on the car? thanks!

I just picked up a white RS from Mark. Easy transaction, great price, and handled everything over the phone and mail so I could buy the car and have a friend bring it back to NorCal for me. Thanks!

+1 I was wondering if you have to pay CA tax or if you pay your states sales tax on them.

I spoke with Mark about the purchase of a new EVO MR. We are stationed in England an wont be returning to the USA until Dec. Mark said he is willing to let me put a deposit down on an MR (to hold it for us) and be ready to ship it to my parents once we finalize the purchase. I couldn't possibly expect ANY dealer to do more than that.
Mark has been so helpful I have stopped looking for any other car (was thinking of a new '07 STi limited).
Thank you Mark for supporting those of us in the Military, stationed overseas!

Update
My car has now been sitting at Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) in CA for 9 days as it was delivered to them 6-30-2006 by South Coast Mitsubishi. I was contacted by DAS that day and told that it would be loaded onto the truck the following day. That never happened. I was then told Monday it would be loaded that day. That never happened. As of yesterday I was told it was in the process of being loaded, but when I checked the status today it shows "Disposition: To Be Loaded."
The original date quoted to me for delivery was 7-14-2006, but the online status says 7-21-2006.
