Thanks for the update...im really going to pull hard for an Evolution IX by the end of July. Cant beat taking a few grand off a brand new car. Mark, how hard would it be to get a Rally Red GSR to your place?

UPDATE

Day 11 Status

Disposition: To Be Loaded

Whooo, glad to see my new car is still sitting in CA at DAS

So based on the new supposed delivery date of July 21 and the fact it was delivered to DAS on June 30 that would seem to make perfect sense. 11 days of sitting and 11 days of travel if it leaves tomorrow. It must be a balance thing

Mark,

I assume it will somehow be refunded later as we are also supposed to pay a sales tax in our state and one purchase cannot be taxed twice?? Can you please clear this a little more.

I am also interested financing wise as it sounds like if we were the pick the car up we could finance including the CA tax?

(I am in AZ by the way)

Thanks for the great service!

Please don't say that. Seriously, that's not even funny.

If that is the case the customers who were buying from out of state will no longer buy from them, because the price difference is just not substantial enough. South Coast relies on these out of state buyers a lot too. I am HOPING the prices will stay the same or just go up a few hundred, or maybe certain models won't go up. Obviously this is wishful thinking but maybe karma will be on my side and I will be rewarded.....

They said that if you ship the car to you, you pay your states sales tax. If you pick it up, you have to pay CA tax. Then I think most states would just make you pay tax in your state if your rate was higher than CA which I dont know of any that are.
