showed up last night....there were only like 4 cars in the parking lot. i had to leave right when i showed up so if you saw a black evo that was me. i had to go up to escondido to sell my turbo

From what i have gathered, more people show up on the tuesday meet than the sunday meet...

 

Just saw this thread. My turn to RSVP. Names Roger GG EVO 9. Btw, the aw junky meets at fusion are not that good. Same people everyday not to mention most the cars there are not awd-mostly are hondas and a few 240's. And the awd cars that do show up are subbies or audi.

We should get a evo meet weekly.

 

agreed then...where and when is a good question? I live all the way in Vista and people tend to make meets like 2 mins away from home within SD while a good number of people live in the surrounding areas...i say somewhere within the Encinitas/Solona beach/Del mar area...Anybody on here from those areas that knows a good spot to meet up at?

 

How about the 8th? The racelegal event at qualcomm, can any of you guy make it out there? let come in witha group, take some pictures and meet other evos etc..

 

I can prolly make it. Hopefully my car is done by then. However, we should get a permanent spot that we meet up at weekly. Remember folks it needs to be centralized cause there are people in the chula vista area who have evos. I am thnking half way like somewhere in miramar or even kearny mesa area. That is the middle. Now we need to figure out if it should be off the 5, 805, or the 15? And what days and times?

 

well i dont know when i will have my evo back but i'm down for a weekly meet. theres a couple of big parking lots off of mira mesa blvd. what do ya think? say thursdays at 8?

 

That'll be cool, but only problem is if anyone see a large crowding of people, people tend to call the cops thinking were invovle with some gang activities, asians gangster ;/

 

And another problem is getting everyoen organized to meet at that time. We should make a list.
