talked to shep yesterday & he confirmed that the Quaife came in from RRE & the trans & T/C are on thier way back!

on top of the regular trans rebuild i also got the upgraded input shaft & longer 1st gearset & the shorter 5th gearset from the 9. i also had to replace both of gears in 4th & the selector fork as they were showing some wear.. shep's opinion on the wear was either high HP or wrong gear oil, seeing as i used diaqueen im going to blame it on the extended dyno sessions i used to put my car through over @ Performance EFI

also, does anyone have a clutch disc alignment tool for the evo? ive got an act one, but it is labeled as a "ford 03" & from looking at it the pilot bearing size seems small & im not shure if it it splines are long enough to hold a twin disc
