as far as full loading dynos were pretty limited here in SD, unless your willing to drive a bit north Pann/Greenlight Auto probably has the best of them with a Dyno Dynamics (IMO) but unfortunatly they dont rent dyno time & im not too comfortable with someone else driving my car on the dyno while i tune....esp when i have heard less than stellar things about Greenlight :/
i was in a position to & almost jumped on purchasing Performance EFI's Dyno when they went under about a year ago, but some unexpected health issues & my concerns of running a shop solo kept me from pulling the trigger back then...... if you guys are serious about opening a shop & possibly aquiring a Dyno perhaps we should talk...... although im not the most outspoken person, i feel i have a lot to bring to the table & opening a Specialty shop here in SD has been a dream of mine for some time now

Last summer when my stock clutch was taking its dying breaths, I tried very hard to drive it without getting into boost.
I have an electronic boost gauge which keeps track of your peak boost, so it was easy to see the highest boost reading that I got... Even being incredibly careful and driving it slower than my grandmother would, I found that at some point I had gotten as high as 3 psi boost.
So basically, it is VERY hard to keep the turbo from boosting.
If somebody truthfully says they drive an Evo without boosting, either they're worse than my grandmother, or they've removed their turbo...

sheesh at least you can boost right now, my Miata been in the shop for the past 2 days getting a new fuel pump intalled. I'm in withdrawl and worse, they gave me a POS 07' Mazda 6 for a loaner. So slow and the projector lights suck ***. I HOPE to have it back tonight........
I ordered a FMIC for my car, but won't be here til early next week. Now I just need to source a 20psi carbon autometer boost gauge so i can make a MBC and run 10psi
There goes leaving my car stock for a while I'll be busy doing a install tuesday or wednesday night after work to get the car ready for Friday at the Q

Glad to see you'll be running it at the Q. I'll probably show up to support you guys 
. You should pick up a ProSport gauge - it's what I run in my car and it only costs $40 bucks. They apparently are more accurate than DEFIs from people doing tests. Plus, there's different colors to match your gauge cluster!

even with a turbo upgrade (GT28 something) those guys are only running about 1 bar, otherwise we have to build the motors. With the stock turbo maxed out, these make 240-250whp, not sure what type of gas though. That type of power with the car's weight would make it a go kart without traction It would have almost the same power to weight ratio as a 350whp EVO
