San Diego Evo's

well the car drives about the same it did when I first got it.....after getting used to the power, it's kinda slow now but still goes through the gears at about the same rate so I guess the power is the same.
On the miata boards, the ALL say the stock BOV leaks bad. Stock boost should be 8psi, so I'm getting a 3psi drop just from that valve. I'm a bit hessitant to throw on the strong EVO valve if it will not open under the 8psi and get surge. So I still havn't felt ALL the power outa this thing yet, and that bugs me.
The line is taped into the BOV line from the rear of the intake mani

I just ordered a cloned Turbo XS type 25 BOV from ebay for $35. We'll see if it works, got this one so I can plumb it back into the intake. If it don't work, I'll have a paper weight and have to get a real $200+ BOV......

they have auto x about once a month at Qualcomm Stadium and at Cali Speedway in Fontucky. I don't think Laguna has open sessions, but get in with some clubs that rent out Button Willows and Streets of Willows.

There are a few clubs that rent out Laguna that you can tag along with. Their website has a calendar with a list of what days and what groups are renting the track. Find out who you want to go with and sign up with them.
P.S. still looking for a rear brake pad. Anyone got an extra one sitting around?

anyone interested in going to fusions tonight, I got word from another miata guy that all types of cars meet there tonight about 7pm to when ever. He said some nights you can even find parking.......Typical cars that show are mazdas, S2000's, EVO's and WRX's.
