LACR is closed, only full track is Fontucky (100 bucks to race) or drive to AZ
Drag racing is dead in Socal, we have to few places to do it at and those are half *** at best.

Where do you guys go to run 1/4's? I personally dont like Qualcomm, by the time im hitting my sweet spot, the race is over. I use only 1st and 2nd gear and im done with the 1/8th.
of course, If any of you see me on the streets, feel free to run me. Im always down if the traffic allows it.

I would hope that you don't die in that thing street racing

And as I said, if traffic allows it. I dont race if it isnt safe. I wouldnt ever street race if we had other options in socal. I think I need to move back to phoenix.

I never done autox before, I had to watch last time. I think my lil car will do better on the cones cuz it doesn't really have the top end for the road course. One day I'll go up there and play.
How much was the track day up there?

about 140 for track time & prob 100 or so in fuel since you spend so much time on the track.
if you have an evo, you dont need to worry about power or having any mods, we already have an advantage over almost every other car out there. at my first HPDE event W redline & the car almost stock i moved up to Intermediate & was still passing 3/4 of the field.
if its your first time @ SOW they also have instruction. highly reccomended! you will be able to find your line & get up to speed much faster W the help of an instructor
last time i went i dragged along a friend in a 92 volvo W skinny street tires & he had a great time! dont hold back because of your car, the evo was made for this, it can take it

Nope don't have an EVO, just hang with all the EVO guys up here. I just got a 05' mazdaspeed (turbo) miata few weeks ago. Was really close to getting a 9. I'm happy with the car I got, and it's a lil different and not a cop magnet which was my main reason for not getting the EVO. I delt with all that crap in the past when I had my two DSMs.
