e85 would be sick but i don't think it is worth the gas mileage you will lose, not quite as cost effective yet

Like most everything else in life, there are pros and cons. Although your gas mileage will decrease, you will be able to run more boost (comparable to a water-meth system).

Yeah, my car is a weekend car so I wouldn't mind E-85. Plus, if I can get it smog exempt, I'll have mad engine blingggggg!

Here is another 'Alan-tuned' car Owned by Tekizero...

This car is running a peak of 22lbs of boost tapering to 19lbs @ 7000rpms with an AFR of ~11.2 @ WOT (all monitored with the Zeitronix WB w/3.5bar Map Sensor)

The Mods are as follow:

Custom road tune to include the JDM RS MIVEC map
BMC Drop-in Filter
Dejon Hardpipe
Nisei LICP
Nisei UICP
ETS 3" FMIC
WOT-Ported Manifold
WOT-Ported Turbo Hotside
WOT-Ported Intake Manifold
WOT-Ported Throttle Body
Megan o2 Housing
Megan Downpipe
RRE Rally Cat
RRE Stealth Exhaust
Walbro FP
Greddy Profec II B EBC

The lower dyno plot was tuned by me with all the above (except the intercooler, 65mm TB, and matched ported intake manifold) and the higher dyno plot was with the addition of the FMIC and some fine tuning...

What do you guys think about these gains?!

Great job (as usual) Alain!

When you get a chance, can you please post Andrea's new graph? Thanks!

No no....these are third gear pulls.....i don't know where the program gets that vMax info from...lol...

Also there is no knock...those could be inconsistencies in the road since this is using datalogs from the third gear pulls to create its chart..

hehe, i was gonna ask where can you get away woth those speeds in SD, lol

forgive me for not keeping up with the ecuflash stuff, whats the knock threshold for switching maps on the stock ECU? ie. 1-2 counts/X amount of time? etc....

are you setting the high & low Octane maps the same?

The Stock Ecu starts adjusting after 1 knock count almost instantly from what i have seen logging....she wants to protect herself to the max...

I only adjust the high octane maps (Fuel/timing)....I leave the low octane map alone so that the car has a safety net for when knock does occur....

awesome, thanks for the quick response

one more question, have the ECUflash guys figgured out the knock algorithim? last time i checked they were still trying to figure out if the counts were refrenced to the ignition events.

forgive me for picking your brain but ive been so spoiled with the AEM i havent had to keep up with the OEM ECU stuff, now that my car is sorted out my GF is on my back to start on her car, lol

also there dont seem to be many stickies or good info on ECUflash easily accessable & i dont feel like spending an hour or two searching, got any good links handy?
