Yeah...I think your axles are your weakest link at this point though. But...several people running 8s on stock axles...so you might be ok.

Anyone here on E85, drive up to Santa Monica to Conserv Fuel, which is the only station that sell E85 west of Downtown. I'm traveling up to Santa Barbara over the weekend and this will be the first road trip on E85. Mapquest shows about 132 miles to this station, shouldn't be a problem, just curious if anyone here as done this trip so far.

Just to let those who are interested. I made the trip up to Santa Barbara on E85, with no problems. From SD (Pearson fuel) straight up to Conserv Fuel in Santa Monica, I went thru half a tank, this was drive out of boost. From Santa Monica to Santa Barbara and back to Santa Monica (Conserv Fuel) I went thru 3/4 of a tank and this was out of boost. Cutting it close, but if your light on the throttle, it's not a problem. If you plan on riping it up on the coast to Santa Barbara, I would bring a five gallon jug, just in case.

Andrea and I will be looking to sell our Evo within the next few months. Do any of you know of anyone looking for an Evo IX SE?

Are you going to be parting out any of those goodies? Putting it back to stock and on 91oct would be your best bet.

We could possibly do that...with the exception of the cams, springs and retainers. It wouldn't be cost effective to pay the labor to have those swapped out. If we put it back to being close to stock as possible, I'd have to find somebody interested in the aftermarket parts and has the OEM parts because I don't have any of the OEM parts (except the OEM ECU). If I put it back to stock, with the exception of the cams, I will need to have it tuned on the OEM ECU to account for the cams.
