So imna be out there... who else? were lookin for a big turn out. I believe the idea is a meet, cruise somewhere, eat, then meet again. A lot of the nasioc guys are showin, and a good evo turnout would be hawt for a change!

ill check it out- might bring the kid! he's into chicks, oho I mean cars.......sat the 13th, right? if it is .....slow, I can always check out the pavs- a lot of people show now. (good temp)

I just heard that the ASU police kicked out the last group that met out there. Can someone confirm this? If that's the case, then we'll likely have to find a new spot

the last group i heard of was a honda meet, and i heard they were causing a lot of trouble. so long as we stay below the radar, we'll be fine.

so, good turnout guys. A lot of evo's showed up. Sorry I didn't post up the alt. spot. it was on the n.e. corner of rio salado and rural road. A good alt. spot till the cop rolled through and kicked us out. First time that's EVER happened for this meet. Odd too, cause we weren't racing, burning out or anything. Just drove in, parked, got out, and talked. We ended up going to in and out. I think the cop may have been curious as to what we were up to, and some guy w/ a wrx started yelling at him before the cop even had his window down to talk to us. Prolly pissed the cop off, and he kicked us out. anyone have other insight? I was sittin in tim's car when it happened, so i'm not 100% on what all was said.

well, we got kicked out the other day, and now i have an idea as to why. The ricers have moved back in...... beginning of the end i think....

Here are a couple of way to get to the marina from Lot 59 there are 2 options.
1.) Head west down Rio Salado. Turn north on Mill Ave. Head north on Mill to Washington, turn east. Follow Washington to the first signal light and turn right. Take this to your first street and turn right. Now go to the stop sign and turn right. Go under the bridge and then turn right into the marina.
2.) Head north on Rural. Pass under the 202. If you can make your first left after the 202, this street is called Gilbert. You will then follow this road to the marina.
3.) If you miss Gilbert you can take a left, head west, on Curry and still get to the marina. On Curry, take your first left, Take this to your first street and turn right. Now go to the stop sign and turn right. Go under the bridge and then turn right into the marina.

lol nice avatar elhalisf! ya, were meeting at the tempe town lake marina this sat. at 5 pm. you should be able to mapquest it. if not, there are some directions in my first post on how to get there. if your still lost, you can always try my cell phone, and i can give you the turn by turn. 4802161466

ya, i would really wake up many times and work on my car. i have even spent almost 24hrs straight working on a friends car. just so you can get an idea, i have pulled my trans out about 8 times since oct of 05.
too bad i can't do that any more since the apt i live in does not allow car repair!
